ABOUT US In 1990, Levi J. Bobbitt started LB Productions. It first started as a video production company. Producing small video productions documenting special events and weddings to creating compilations of video all on VHS format. With the birth of the internet in the mid-90s, LB Productions' web design was born. In 1997, Levi started business with his first web client and the business steadily grew over the next 10 years with over 60 clients. In the late 1990s when Levi graduated high school, the computer sales and service division of his business began, offering basic troubleshooting to complete custom builds of computers for a growing client-base which would top over 500 by the middle of 2007. Levi's passion has and always will be video production. The other segments of the business came with experience and demand; and though became important parts of the business, were not his true hobby. LB Productions operated as a home based business until 2004, when it opened up an office in downtown Joseph, Oregon. This business flurished over the next few years to a point it grew so fast that even Levi was feeling the "growing pains." By the latter half of 2007, Levi felt the business was losing sight of it's original goals and the business itself became far too stressful, even playing a toll on his health. In the summer of 2007, Levi made a life changing desicion to relocate to the Willamette Valley. As the stress was starting to weigh heavily on his health, Levi started persuing a new career and after an extensive job search, he landed a new position with Oregon Department of Transportation as technology coordinator in the Transporation Development Division in Salem, Oregon. With this news hitting so quickly, another offer was made to Levi, by one of his employees -- to buy his business. In the fall of 2007, Elizabeth DeBoie and her husband Dan purchased LB Productions (with the exception of the web development portion). In the winter of 2008, they renamed the business Simply Digital, as the former name beared the intials of the original creator. Today, Levi J. Bobbitt continues to run the web development portion of what use to be LB Productions, now called LBSITES. The business has retained most of the clients aquired over the years and is accepting no more current business at this time. Levi still chooses to serve his former customers well, but has no desire to do anymore expansion at this time. One of the business' former assistant managers still works for the company, Jay Watts. Even one of the custom-built computers built by LB Productions was named after Watts. In addition, in early 2008, Levi added another support person to the staff to keep up with matinenance of the websites. Jonathan Stephens brings many years of experience of web development to the table, and is proving to be a valuable asset to the business.
Before even graduating high school, Levi J. Bobbitt created LB Productions. He was the company's sole proprietor since 1998. He incorported the business in 2002. In October 2007 Levi sold the computer sales, service, and video production divisions of his business, and renamed his web development sector "LBSITES." As the business has grown, Levi has taken a step back from the day to day operations of the business. He continues to focus on the technical aspects of customer service. Levi graduated from Joseph High School in 1998, attended Lewis-Clark State College in Lewiston, Idaho where he earned an associate's degree in communications and certificate of video production. Oddly enough, none of these things prepared him to run his own business. All of his skills were self taught from a young age. Levi currently works as a project manager with ODOT's Intelligent Transportation systems -- his work primarily focuses on the TripCheck.com website.
Web assistant, assistant manager, and web manager are all titles Jay Watts has held with us. From 2004 to 2006 Jay was LB Productions full time assistant manager. Jay is currently attending college at Portland State University. From Portland Jay updates and manages the majority of LBSITES' web clients. He communicates with clients and our staff from his office in Portland, Oregon. Jay has a long history with LBSITES (formerly LB Productions), he is responsible for helping it grow what it is today and is a true asset to the business. Jay joined LB Productions while he was a junior in highschool, learning the tricks of the trade from webmaster Levi Bobbitt. Later he became Levi's second in command and was asked for by name by a large amount of customers. Today, Jay is still in charge of most of the web clients and is still a customer favorite. While attending Portland State, Jay is persuing a degree in criminal justice.
He's the freshest face to join LBSITES. He is the first new person to come aboard since Levi split the company in 2007. Jonathan Stephens has a vast background in web authoring and vector based websites. When he was younger, Jonathan would create websites as a "hobby," before becoming self taught in programs like Dreamweaver, Photoshop, and Flash; which gave him the perfect foundation and experience to join our team. He is starting to manage a growing number of clients, lightening the weight off of Jay and Levi. Jonathan currently is a GIS Technician for the Transportation Development Division of ODOT.
